Model, Static, Fokker Dr. I Triplane

This is a model of a highly maneuverable three-winged plane. While it climbed well, due to its slow speed and structural problems, only 320 were made. The triplane was made famous by Germany’s top-scoring pilot, Manfred von Richthofen—the feared Red Baron—even though he mostly scored victories flying other planes.
