Perspective view of Eumenides Dorsum part of the Medusae Fossae Formation, a series of thick deposits found along the highland-lowland dichotomy boundary on Mars. Context Camera (CTX) mosaic of Eumenides Dorsum, the thickest deposit of the Medusae Fossae Formation estimated from the MARSIS radar sounder data to be over 3 kilometers thick, that is as thick as the ice-rich South Polar Layered Deposits that make up the Martian south polar cap.
