    Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2b "Gold Coast No.10" (s/n A5478), assigned to Royal Flying Corps (RFC) No. 22 Squadron, on the ground, circa 1916-1917. A pilot sits in the in cockpit and an observer stands at his Lewis gun. Bombs are in place in racks beneath the fuselage. The observer demonstrates the exposed position needed to fire at attackers.
