HiMAT (Highly Maneuverable Aircraft Technology) in Beyond the Limits

HiMAT (Highly Maneuverable Aircraft Technology) is a 4/10-scale research aircraft that was used to test new concepts in design, construction, and control. It was piloted from the ground by computer-assisted remote control. Super computers like the Cray-1 displayed in the gallery played a major role in designing HiMAT.
