Curtiss Robin, named Ole Miss in The Golden Age of Flight

Record-breaking aerial feats were a hallmark of the Golden Age of Flight. In this Curtiss Robin, named Ole Miss, Fred and Algene Key stayed aloft for 27 days, overcoming exhaustion, thunderstorms, and an electrical fire in the cabin. A catwalk built along the front of the fuselage enabled them to service the engine in flight.
