Adventurer Steve Fossett pauses Thursday, Sept. 5, outside the capsule from his Bud Lite Spirit of Freedom, the first balloon to carry one person nonstop around the world. Fossett was at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum to donate the craft to the national collection.
