Many techniques are used to move the artifacts from the Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration, and Storage Facility to the Aviation Hangar at the Udvar-Hazy Center. Flatbeds and semi-trailers do the heavy work. More fragile items are carefully crated. Others are tied down for the ride.
